Nonetheless, here are our final results.

Last week I had my annual appointment with my girl doctor and he brought up the fact that I'm weighing less than I did before I got pregnant with Aria. It really made me feel good to hear that! Even though my weight is down to 121, I feel that part of that was me losing a bit of my muscle mass because we haven't made it to the gym every day. I also don't think you can tell much of a difference in me physically from Phase 2 to the completion of the program.
Here are my progress pics from Day 1 and Day 84. While I know they could have been better, I'm still very pleased with the results!

Jason has been traveling a lot for work so there wasn't any change in his weight from the end of Phase 2 to the end of the program. But given how much he's been on the road, that is truly amazing! I'm so proud of how far he has come and it looks like we are going to have to get his suit altered! Sorry the picture quality isn't great! I didn't fully think things through when I took his final pictures.
When the program came to an end I was left thinking "What's next?" I am the type of person who likes goals and checklists so it became clear that it would be best for me to start another program. I've looked around and decided I am going to start Lee Labrasa's 12 Week Lean Body Trainer which can also be found on Bodybuilding.com.
The nutrition requirements are not laid out quite as definitely as Jamie Eason's program, so I am going to take what I learned from Live Fit about clean eating and apply it to this program. I am excited to start something new and to keep moving forward with improving my health and wellness.
I believe a big part of wellness is your mental well-being. When stress levels are high it is easy to get off track with your eating and fitness goals, and in turn your mental well-being can be compromised. We've had a few big (and unexpected) expenses come up recently. If you know me, you know that I am BIG into budgeting! Taking care of our family budget is a lot of fun for me, but it is frustrating when you see your savings take a dip because things come up. Of course, that's what savings are for!
I've decided that Jason and I are going to do a 30 day cash only challenge (not counting monthly bills) starting this Wednesday, August 14th. I want us to be more aware of how much money we have and more cautious about spending it. When I balanced our budget on Wednesday, I decided that we needed to not spend much more until we get paid next. I had $12 in my wallet and decided that is what we would have to live on for 7 days. As of today I still have $5 remaining and just knowing that I needed to stretch that money has really made me think twice before spending it.
We already live our lives in categories; my budget has a category for EVERYTHING! I think we will be less likely to spend our money so freely and quickly if we have to look at what we're spending, so we're taking it back to the basics for a month to see what kind of effect it will have on our budget. I think it will be fun, but I'm strange like that. :)
Transforming your life should never be complete! You should always look for ways to continue to improve your situation. I'm excited about these new challenges and can't wait to share our results!
